Terms and Conditions

These terms describe what Commodity Edge does, what it deliberately does not do, and how responsibility is allocated. They are a general summary and not legal advice.

Nature of the service

Commodity Edge provides procurement decision support. It does not execute purchases, does not broker or arrange transactions, and does not provide financial, investment or hedging advice.

Company responsibility

The subscribing company retains full responsibility for its purchasing decisions, contractual commitments, inventory policy and supply continuity. Platform outputs are inputs to your process, not instructions.

Accounts and roles

Companies are responsible for the users they create, the roles they assign and the accuracy of the procurement information they enter. Assessments depend on the inputs provided.

Subscriptions and trial

Access is granted per commodity through an active subscription or trial. Non-payment may lead to suspension of access in accordance with the rules shown in the platform.

Permitted use

Access is for the subscribing company's internal procurement purposes. Redistribution, resale or automated extraction of platform outputs or underlying data is not permitted.

Data sources

Market information is received from third-party sources. Availability, coverage and licensing conditions of those sources may change, and the platform will indicate when a source is not connected or information is insufficient.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Commodity Edge is not liable for commercial outcomes of purchasing decisions, for third-party data errors or for interruptions of third-party services.
