Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Commodity Edge processes, why, and how company data is kept separate. It is a general summary and not legal advice.

Data we process

Company details, user accounts and roles, procurement inputs (volumes, inventories, lead times, target and supplier prices), notification preferences, subscription and payment-event records, and platform activity logs.

Why we process it

To provide procurement decision support, to produce and store assessments and reports, to send the alerts you configure, to manage subscriptions and access, and to maintain the audit trail required for governance.

Company segregation

Each company's records are isolated. Access is restricted by company, by role and by subscribed commodity, and is enforced on the server rather than in the browser.

Sharing

We do not sell company or user data. Processing by service providers (hosting, email delivery, messaging, payment processing) is limited to what is necessary to operate the platform.

Retention

Analytical conclusions, acknowledgements and company decisions are retained as an immutable record for governance and audit purposes. Account data is retained while the subscription is active and for the period required by applicable law.

Your rights

Company administrators can manage users and settings directly. For access, correction, export or deletion requests, contact us using the address on the Contact page.

Security

Credentials and provider keys are held server-side only. Protected calculations, provider calls, notifications and payment operations run in backend functions and are never exposed to the browser.
