Commodity Edge exists to answer a small set of operational questions: buy now, wait, or hold off on discretionary purchases — and how much confidence that answer deserves. Everything else in the platform serves those questions.
The platform keeps market analysis separate from your company's constraints. A possible market decline never automatically becomes WAIT when your stock is thin or your lead time is long. A possible increase never becomes BUY NOW without visible evidence and a company-specific reason.
Automated analysis, analyst validation and your company's final decision are three distinct records. Each conclusion stores its methodology version, evidence, conflicting evidence, data sources, timestamps and review history, so a decision taken today can still be explained a year from now.
