Commodity Edge presents possibilities with a stated confidence level. It never presents a probabilistic indication as a certainty.
No certain forecasts
The platform does not state that a price will definitely rise or fall, and does not describe any decision as risk-free or guaranteed. Every direction signal is a possibility, shown with its confidence, supporting evidence, conflicting evidence and the conditions that would invalidate it.
No invented data
Missing information is never replaced with estimated or fabricated values. Where a source is not connected or the available information is not sufficient, the platform displays it plainly:
Freshness and provenance
Each item of information carries its source, timestamp, freshness and validation status. If a required source is missing or stale, confidence is reduced or the conclusion becomes INSUFFICIENT DATA.
Meaning of DO NOT BUY
DO NOT BUY means that current price conditions appear unfavourable for discretionary purchasing. It never overrides minimum inventory levels, supply continuity or contractual obligations, and must never be read as an instruction to interrupt supply.
